Florence Day is a ghost-writer with one big problem. She’s supposed to be penning swoon-worthy novels for a famous romance author but, after a bad break-up, Florence no longer believes in love. And when her strict (but undeniably hot) new editor, Benji Andor, won’t give her an extension on her book deadline, Florence prepares to kiss her career goodbye.
When tragedy strikes and Florence has to head home, the last thing she expects to see is a ghost at her front door. Not just any ghost, however, but the stern form of her still very hot – yet now unquestionably dead – new editor.
As sparks start to fly between them, Florence tells herself she can’t be falling for a ghost – even an infuriatingly sexy one. But can Benji help Florence to realise love isn’t dead, after all?
If you fell in love with Funny Story, This Spells Love and The Hating Game, this laugh-out-loud romance will sweep you away.

I enjoyed my time with the book & the concept was also good. However at times i felt myself drawn away from the story & kinda lengthy. The characters were nice enough, especially loved Florence's father. It was a cosy & light-hearted read at best for a rainy day.

I liked it! It was a new type of read for me where it involved so many things in 1 book be it romance, grief, heart breaking, family drama, The Ghosts but sometimes it's hard to take it but that's the reality for some people. Sometimes we think we are normal but may be our normal is not normal to everyone! So, I accepted the normal life of Florence. I enjoyed it and loved the ending ! There were moments when I was cracking up and sometimes teary eyed.I want everyone to read it!

A sweet and light story that sort of taps on the journey of grief and coping with death. I think the book shows the way to tackle death as a natural process rather than a life altering event. Well to be frank, you could predict what will happen but the book has a charm that keeps you hooked

If you prefer less explicit romances, this is it. AIt has the familiar vibe of a typical romcom, yet what sets it apart is the unique storyline. It has echoes of HOHH (the show, not the book), specifically when Florence returns to her family's funeral home. The family dynamics, ghosts, and themes of grief added to that.Heartwarming, cute, and seamlessly put together—the perfect comfort read.

A decent premise for a love story, though the end was stretched out and a little too sappy for me.

When I started it, I didn’t think this will be that amazing. I thought it was a simple romcom with some ghostly twists and turns. Plus, the synopsis was too complicated that I didn’t get much idea into the book at first. But after diving into it, everything became much clearer. There were too many elements in this book and all of them were handled pretty nicely. For the whole book, I love Florence and how awesome she was possessing the ability to see a ghost. I would like that. Okay, I know I sound creepy but yeah, it’s a superpower no? Dead Romantics is not only a love story, it depicts a loving family that celebrates life and its delicacies. I felt the portrayal of events tells us how difficult is to be a writer; when everyone keeps expecting you to write and you are just still not able to think through. The best part was when Florence fell in love with a dead editor even after creating so many walls around her. Well makes this an amazing read for me.

The premise was intriguing enough to get me to read but quickly turned predictable. It just fell short of expectations.
