साधना दिवाळी अंक 2021

सोळाव्या शतकात स्पेनमधील म्युग्युएल डी सर्वान्तीस या लेखकाने 'द इंजिनियस जंटलमन डॉन किहोते द ला मांचा' ही महाकादंबरी लिहिली. मागील पाच शतकात जागतिक वाड़मयातील ती महत्त्वाची कादंबरी मानली जाते. तिचे अनेक भाषांमध्ये अनुवाद झाले. मराठीतील प्रख्यात लेखक विजय पाडळकर यांच्यावरही तिचा प्रभाव पडला. तो प्रभाव कशा प्रकारचा आहे हे सांगत असतानाच त्या कादंबरीतील एका प्रकरणाकडे लक्ष वेधणारा हा लेख पाडळकर यांनी 2021 च्या साधना दिवाळी अंकात लिहीला आहे.

In the 16th century, Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes wrote the epic novel 'The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote Da La Mancha'. It is considered the most important novel in the world in the last five centuries. It was translated into many languages. It also influenced famous Marathi writer Vijay Padalkar. Padalkar has written this article in the 2021 Sadhana Diwali issue, which draws attention to a chapter in that novel while telling what kind of effect it is.
