As a Malayali Keralite, enjoyed this very interesting novel based on Caste System written in 1973. The deep rooted prejudices have since been worsened leading to mob lynching, gang rapes, arson etc now. Compared to what is happening in the present, the events in this book are mild and give hope for a better future. The dramatization of this work by a bunch of talented narrators makes the listening a wonderful experience.

A fantastic book by SLB sir. A must read / listen for every kannadiga.. So many complex issues are touched in this novel. It's amazing that this masterpiece was written 52 years ago.

ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಧ್ವನಿ..ವಿವಿಧ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಂದ ಡಬ್ ಮಾಡಿಸಿರುವುದು ತುಂಬಾ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ..ನಾನು ಕೇಳ್ತಾ ಕೇಳ್ತಾ ಕಳೆದುಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆ..ಭೈರಪ್ಪನವರಿಗೆ, ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ, story tel ಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು..

Very good story about cast in Bharat

Good plot and character development. What he wants to tell us? Rebels and reformation? Just stating we are like this? Not justified the name daatu... Sad state
