Rajakesari is a gem in the crown of Cholas fiction

What an inspiring prologue! Narration has been done in a perfect way just to ensure and deliver to the listeners in the right sense.I thank Storytel for making this as an audio. I am not able to immerse myself into the story without writing my experience about the prologue. Such a deep passion and search! Totally blown away and awed by it.

After i finished listening to kalki sir 's ponniyin selvan,i was hungry for more historical novels based on the cholas .Just then i came across rajakesari. Though intially i was hesitant i didn't know when i was deep into the story plot. I started imagining the streets of ancient thanjore and traveling along with the lead characters. The story was so gripping that i couldn't stop with just one novel.Hence i went on to listen all of the novels from the trilogy. The author has spun a whole creative world with references from the history. He has carved the story with intrinsic details here and there all along and then connected the dots at the end. As always deepika was fantastic with her rendition. The difference in modulation she gives to emote each and every charecter 's mindset is just awesome, this shows how much hard work she puts for each of her narrations. Overall the author n the narrator have made me engulf in their own fictional universe.Thankyou gokul sir and deepika.Hatsoff

Ponniyin Selvan is Na bhooto Na bhayavishyat. Rajakesari is a patriotic MAGNUM OPUS. Thank you Dear Gokul for an impeccable thriller. GREAT THANK YOU FOR DEEPIKA for narrating this gargantuan novel. How I wish I was born in Thanga Tamizhagam. You are a blessing for Tamil illiterates like me, that always loved to read Tamil books but couldn't do that. I was always wondering about the nature of peasants that dweled during Especially Sri Raja Raja Chozha's time. How the periya koil was constructed and the art lives. Great Insight Gokul Sir. You have made sure to connect with commoners during that empire age ( sorry Era). Not to compare, I sometimes believe even my wife may stumbled to narrate such a story like you Deepika Ji. And I have received her wrath comparing you and her also in terms of Nareation😂😂. Hope this review reaches to you both. I pray to all Emberumaans to bless you both and your beloved's with all happiness and prosperity.
