Shankarabharanam is K Viswanath's great work in the history of Telugu cinema. Shankara Sastry, a renowned musician hosts Tulasi, the daughter of a prostitute. Tulasi wants to learn music but she runs away to a different place. At a later point in time, Tulasi's son enters Shankara Sastry's life and a series of dramatic events take us to an emotional ending in the film. Vamsy worked as an assistant director for the film. He has given a different approach to the film by adding his writing style. Along with that, he also presented some 'Behind the Scenes' and the letters written by fans. Shankarabharanam is Vamsy's first pick in 'Venditera Navalalu'. సంగీత విద్వాంసుడు శంకర శాస్త్రి దగ్గర సంగీతం నేర్చుకోవాలని తహతహలాడుతోంది తులసి. తులసి ఒక వేశ్య కూతురు. తనని కూడా ఆ వృత్తి లో కే దింపాలని చూస్తుంది తులసి తల్లి. ఈ క్రమం లో అనుకోని కారణాల వలన తులసి కి శంకర శాస్త్రి ఆశ్రయం ఇవ్వడం, ఆ తర్వాత ఆమె ఇల్లు విడిచి పోవడం, ఆమె కుమారుడు మరలా శంకర శాస్త్రి దగ్గరకు చేరడం. అదంతా నాటకీయ పరిస్థితుల్లో సాగుతుంది. ఇదే శంకరాభరణం కథ. ఈ కథ కి నవలా రూపం ఇస్తూ ఈ 'వెండి తెర నవలలు' లో శంకరాభరణానికి స్థానం కలిపించారు వంశీ. కె విశ్వనాధ్ ఈ సినిమా దర్శకులు. ఈ సినిమా కి దర్శకత్వ శాఖ లో పనిచేయడం మూలానా, ఆ సినిమా యొక్క తెర వెనుక కథలని కూడా ఇందులో పొందుపరిచారు. వాటి తో పాటు ఈ సినిమా కి సంబంధించి అభిమానులు రాసిన ఉత్తరాలు కూడా ఆయన జతపరిచారు.
